What kinds of assessments can we build?
Your church may build a Group-or-Team recommendation, a serving-area assessment, a shortened gifts-and-contribution tool, or another tightly scoped assessment designed around your One Program. We will come prepared with sample language and material for multiple directions.
How can someone actually take the recommended next step?
We will design the cleanest ending for your current system. That may mean:
- Saying yes directly inside the new tool
- Linking to an existing Planning Center form, webpage, registration, or ministry form
- Meeting a ministry representative or taking a tour in the room
- Completing your existing paper or facilitated response process
The technology serves your process—not the other way around.
What do the care and leadership indicators do?
Optional indicators can help staff notice someone who may need personal care before another commitment, someone whose capacity calls for a lower-pressure option, or someone worth watching for future influence. These are not diagnoses or leadership decisions. They are signals that help the right person begin a thoughtful conversation.
What technology and ongoing costs should we expect?
The planned stack is GitHub for code ownership, Vercel for hosting and the church subdomain, and Supabase for secure response storage and admin access. Most churches should be able to begin on free hosting and database plans. Claude Pro will likely be useful during the build month at approximately $20.
Expected starting ownership cost: approximately $20 beyond tuition. Depending on future usage, support needs, or platform terms, paid hosting and database plans could eventually total roughly $45 per month.
What is intentionally outside the pilot scope?
- Official Planning Center, TouchPoint, Rock, or other ChMS integration
- SMS delivery or a complete email nurture system
- A full church management, volunteer scheduling, or group matching platform
- Native mobile apps or multi-church SaaS infrastructure
The application can be expanded later, and the church will own the code required to do that.
What would this cost to have custom built?
A custom front end, scoring engine, database, secure admin dashboard, follow-up tracker, deployment, and source-code transfer would reasonably cost approximately $5,000–$15,000 from a freelancer or small development shop. The pilot price is possible because churches will build alongside one another using a shared foundation, guided AI development, and a deliberately limited scope.
